A True Texas Singer/Songwriter. Max's songs are incredable! A must have for any true Texan. You won't be disappointed.

I just got a copy of "Wide Afternoon". I gave it a few listens and it really has grown on me. Max has a solid voice with real sincerity to it. This album has a real subtle beauty to it. The sound of the wheels on the highway pushes this wonderful collection songs into your mind and will not let you go. Get ready to take a roadtrip with Max on this one. Good Stuff.

If you like story tellers, you will love this CD. It has stories from the heart, including my personal favorite, Blue Eyes. And if you like the CD, you'll love the live performance. This guy is not only the rising star of Texas country music, but he is also a genuine human being, which makes his music all the more enjoyable.
