Wide Afternoon
I love Runnin' Buddy. He says Leakey twice. Only cool people know where that place is.

GOOD JOB WITH THE SONGS, THEY REFLECT GROWING UP IN SMALL TOWN SOUTH TEXAS. I LIKE THE "6X9", BUT DON'T FORGET JOE'S PLACE, ALWAYS NEW YOU WHERE A PURE WIDCAT.

I can listen to this over and over and it doesn't get old. It makes you feel like you are on the front row which is a real treat. The album captures his wide range of emotions, musical styles and stories. The encore song isn't on any other CD and is one of the best!

Sellout: Live at Dan's Silver Leaf
This one is true Max, sure to please any Max Stalling fan. A true singer/songwriter that is obviously a crowd pleaser.

Sellout: Live at Dan's Silver Leaf
This is a must have for Max Stalling fans or those who will soon be addicted to Max Stalling's music. For those that were lucky enough to sweat the night out at Dan’s listening to this CD brings out the excitement from Max’s shows and that night at Dan’s. Max sings and writes about times that somehow we can all relate to and it is driven home by three wonderful guys, Dale, Jeff and Aden. This C.D. also has two other songs not found on other Stalling C.D., 6X9 Speakers and Drunk in Mexico on Sunday afternoon. Wonderful job Max.

For as good as this album could have been it was a disappointment. Sound quality aside, the songs are just performed BAD.

Great vocals and meaningfull lyrics. "Probably Corsicana" and the "Pila Song" rock. These are CD's that are meant for the long road trip.

Artist Review
Max Stalling is truly one of the greatest singer songwriters around. His wide variety of themes speak to everyone, and all of his albums are a great buy. He also gives a great live performance. My only complaint is that I can't wait until his new album gets released.
