These dudes are the real deal holyfield. I saw em last night at Gruene Hall and they floored the whole room. Literally, I was on the floor..ha! But on a serious note, the combination of talent/tunes/show/etc these guys will go very far if they keep truckin along. Best of luck to you boys and I'll see next week at the curtain club. Go Cowboys!!

Album Review
Just heard Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue Saturday night,7/11/09, for the very first time-FANTASTIC- loved it all. I'm sorry it took so long to hear them because they are great now and in my opinion will be one of the greatest groups around. Can't wait for their new CD to come out. Caught them at Poor David's Pub.

Saw these guys tonight at Gruene Hall and oh my are they talented. I stayed the entire time, 4 hrs of wonderful, original music. The songs are so heartfelt and soulful and the guitar players were brilliant. One of them had two black guys, guess thats rock n roll for ya. Keep up the good work, I've worn out the cd already!! jk

Stewart's still the singer I believe, but they go by just The Statesboro Revue now I take it. I bought the album tonight after seeing them at Billys for the first time. All I can tell you is that they are 100% what this scene needs. Great songs, guitars, vocals, bass, drums, showmanship. The album is pretty americana and tame compared to their live sound, but I like it guys. I'll def be seeing you at Gruene Hall in July!! Have fun on the road.

These boys are hot, and theyre music is fantastic. I cant believe I havent heard of them before now but I'm glad I stumbled onto them. Very old school sounding, good southern rock music. Heartfelt, makes ya wanna dance, makes you wanna sing type stuff. Their old album doesnt do them justice, they rock!!

Other than Stewart's self admitted lack of guitar playing ability these guys are hands down the best musicians I've ever seen in one band. Great songs, great everything. They'll go far. Got the 4 song preview of their upcoming album and its going to really put them on the map. Cant wait for the full-length guys

They are fantastic to listen to and watch and I highly recommend seeing them in person the first chance you get! I want to tell you what a first class band this is! I also want to acknowledge what a gentleman Stewart has been and continues to be! Take it from me, I have been following this band for almost a year now and I have never seen any indiscretions.

So just I have this straight, in a genre that includes Josh Abott, Randy Rogers, Kevin Fowler, Bart Crow, Jason Boland, Cody Canada, and so many more...you think Stewart isnt attractive huh? Someone seems a little bitter to me. I had a major crush on him for like a year and he's never acted remotely cocky in any way, in fact, he's one of the nicer musicians I've ever met. He's hot as pie in my mind. and super talented.
