Houston is the best songwriter out there. The first live cd was the best ablum I have ever listened to.It is the kind of CD you never get tired of. His live shows are fantastic. If you ever get the chance to see him I would not pass it up.

Talented songwriter that is unjustly ignored by the Texas crowd. He deserves so much more. He is a much better songwriter than the much heralded Ray Wylie, Billy Joe and Joe Ely. Take a listen to this cd and you will see. It's dark and deep, but well worth it.

this albulm is awesome. its a great live performance by these guys. It's worth catching them next time they come through town.

Its ok. I like the first track. But I was really disappointed with "Long Way From Here" I like "Ft. Worth" 100 times better. Clever lyrics saves this album. Of course I think he is one of best song writers out there. I am curious about the 6th album thing.... I thought I had them all... "Leaving Dallas" 'Trying for Home" "Live" "Desperate Man" And now this one... What is the other one?

Another vastly under appreciated singer/songwriter. He has the creative impulse that so many are lacking. Like Chris Wall I don't understand why this guy is not consitantly at the top. Oh wait, now I remember; it's because most people only hear 5-10 singers, and mistake pop for country.
