Good CD guys, but not up to par when compared to "Purple" (CCR) or Soul Gravy. But still a good CD! Was worth the price I paid. So was all the otherss. If this is the first CD of CCR, don't judge 'em, Get Back To Tulsa and then you will see the "real" CCR. THAT was a GREAT CD. Thanks for that one, really Kicked A$$ ! Sorta need to say Thanks, since it was, as Cody said "Our Album". Keep up the good work guys, soundin' great.
To all my old friends who'd wear two t-shirts to their concerts so we could take one off and wave it over our heads to "bang my head". I miss the old CCR!
I bet cowboys will be a lot more crowded then gruene hall 11-29-08.
Where's big Mike?
well, it's no Soul Gravey or Garage (2 of the greatest cd's of all time) but it is growing on me. Could have spent a little more time on lyrics on a few of the songs(bubble-gum). Still a band in my top 2 or 3.

great band. i think they were at their best with live and loud at billy bobs and purple.
I recently had the pleasure of seeing Cross Canadian Ragweed in Ashville, NC. I have since added thier songs to my my space playlist. What incredible musicians! Coty....awesome feeling in the music. Grady...what can I say, great stage presence, great guitarist! Can't wait til they return to NC. It would be great to see you in the Myrtle Beach area. Also can't wait for the next album. I now have them all!
im completely confused by your posts it kinda sounds like you are pro-ragweed but you give them only 1 star. if your being sarcastic i just plain missed it.
It's not a new sound. Its the same old great stuff. This album's importance may not be recognized for a while. In light of all the great LSM artists who bring something new. But, Ragweed's (and esp. Canada's) greateness are yet to be appreciated except by those who really sitdown and live (or lived) the lyrics of "Brooklyn" and "Johnny's Song", "The Years". Blow the freakin harp!
It was no accident that I was at the Helotes CD release party for this one. If you don't like this one... go back and listen to all their poop. Mission California = The Years, Lawrence, I Believe. IMO. The others are great. But, those songs establish the greatness of this album. Ragweed Rules.
I saw the Pittsburgh PA concert and it was fantastic! I'm so glad one of my favorite bands came close to home. The music kicked ass and I can't wait until next year!
