Each of Chris's CD's are just a bit different from the next, but they all manage to be GREAT! This one is no exception. He brings his KY coal mine grit out in this acoustic masterpiece.
In true Chris Knight fashion this CD is raw, poetic, and just downright real. In other words its the best use of $15.00 you will find this year.
I was in LSM last week and picked up this CD. My third CK CD if LSM will send me the one they have on back order. I only give this 5 Star's because that is all they would let me. Man I'm digging CK. What a great songwriter. Framed was the first song I remember hearing from CK. But this CD is full of great music. Is William the sadist scratching song you have ever heard. Can't you just picture this story. But, that is what CK does best tell stories that you see as you listen to the song. Or, if reminds you of a time or incident in you own life that is reflected in the song. CK is one of very few people who can do that Steve Earle is another. I will buy all CK CD's and if you don't you are still listening to too much Cowboy Troy.
This guy is a BMF! Can't wait for this CD to come out. Always a great show when he visits the Ice-house.

"Down the River" from the Pretty Good Guy album is one of my favorites. I feel like I was there! Saw him @ the Exit In back in the fall. Maybe 200 people there. He was AWSOME! Keep it up Chris!
