Cooder Graw
Artist Review
"WakeUp" has it all. If you are a long time Cooder fan you will be delighted with Lifetime Stand, I've Got Kids, End of the Road and others. If you like it when Cooder rocks at the clubs you will be thrilled at CLarksdale. This song is no CD filler it is full blown rockin killer. I was listening to it on Interstate 35 and half way through I realized I was going 95 MPH! It seriously rocks! The strongest song on the CD is Lying Next To The Truth or "Chicklets" as they called it before this album. I predict this song will go to number 1 and stay there for a while. If this was the only song on the CD it would be enough. This CD will be my stocking stuffer for almost everyone on my list. I highly recommend it! 10 stars!!

Live At Billy Bobs
I have to laugh every time I look at the cd's from any of the Live at Billy Bob's series. They really need to get a new artist for those compact disc designs. The animation is so bad. Notice that I said animation (they're cartoons) What's interesting is that they keep doing it with all the bands. Somebody must like it?

Wake Up is awsome! I can't take the CD out! I love Cooder Graw, the song writing is great. They are also one of the BEST bands to see live, no matter where they are playing! IT'S A LOUD COUNTRY!

Hard working roadhouse loud Texas country/southern rock, just try to sit down while they play, band. Great craftsmanship, both in writing and presentation. An album you can't quit playing cause it is so deep and wide. What are they talking about? What does that mean? One song you want a beer and a dance partner the next you want an open road, a pickup with a 454 and a tank of gas. You can't get comfortable here cause you never know what's next. I like it and give it a 5 out of 5 stars!! Pitstop

Wake Up takes a turn from Cooder Graw's usual loud, take-that music. It has it expected loud sound with "Clarksdale" and sultriness with "Many Moons". It highlights the band's amazing talent and demonstrates their flexibility as musicians. This CD is expected to catipulate Cooder into frenzied stardom. This CD is a must have for any person who claims to love Texas Country Music or anyone for that matter who loves kick*** music.

These guys quit their professional jobs to do their music gig. They have exceptional talent. And more than that they are just getting better. I find them to be an exception to the comments in the last Craeger review. But take the time to read it. Makes many valid points. I get irritated because I support the up and coming artists. But if you buy cd's blind its really easy to get burned. As expensive as they are, you want purchase tunes that will click and provide enjoyment for a long time to come.

I do not agree with my Longhorn brother. The cd lacks a hip hop beat. I can say with honesty that you are a bunch of redneck fools. Us Austin people are extremely liberal and believe in cultural diversity in everything we do. You are one dimensional with your music and dont deserve to talk smack. Try something different for a change. Horns Rule!
