WOW! What an amazing talent. Adam has truly harnesed the art of songwriting and of entertaining. It is very refreshing to go to a bar like the "Blue Light" in lubbock and see a guy with a stool, two guitars and his thoughts pour his heart out to an audience of 20 just like he does to an audience of 300. What a great performer and wonderful writer!

"Small Town" is one of the best CD's I own. If you are a Townes Van Zandt fan, Adam Carroll will bring Townes back to life. No Nashville sounds just clean and pure Texas folk. Adam's lyrics are the best I've heard in a long time with great guitar to boot.

But when you look up the definition for Word Smith in the dictionary his picture is next to it. Adam Carrol is the Washington Irving of Folk Country Music. This guy paints pictures in your head with his words. A Steven Speilberg who dosen't need film.
