Dale Watson is one of the most talented songwriters/musicians that I have ever heard. His shows are top notch. He has a way of touching your soul with his music. It is a shame that he and other great musicians from the great state of Texas are overlooked in the big scheme of things.
This is my favorite country artist. If you like country music, want to give it a try, or are writing a school report on country music, you should buy all of Dale Watsons albums.
I have been a musician most of my life (more years than I care to admit). I lived in Austin in the 1970's and just recently moved back to the Austin area. A few days ago I heard Dale Watson and his Lone Stars for the first time and I was absolutely blown away! Dale Watson is one of the finest musicians I have heard in a long time. If you haven't had the privilege of hearing Dale and his great band, then you are missing the opportunity of a lifetime. You won't be disappointed with Dale's smooth vocals and his fine guitar playing. Dale's band is a perfect compliment to his sometimes laid back and sometimes energetic style. Check him out - you'll be glad you did!

Dale's Live in London is the best contry cd I've heard in a long time. Forget all that trash that has to mention Texas once on the verse and twice on the chorus just to let you know where the singers from. Dale aint Green. You know Dale's from Texas by listening to him. Truly a treasure to the State of Texas. Keep 'em comin an I'll keep buying.
