Very soul-full. A great balance between the mellow songand the harder hitting songs. Definite worth having. And if you get the chance check'em out in concert. I saw him play before I knew who he was. It was a great show. Thoughtful lyrics.
I have been reluctant in the past to buy any of alejandro's CD's because I thought if would have a strong hispanic influence that would be lost on me and anglo. I borrowed this CD from a friend and it's right on. I'm a big Townes van Zandt fan and song #7 is supposed to be about following him. This is a very mellow album that has left me wanting for nothin. I highly suggest this album to any Texas americana fans. Derek
