This is the best album Keen has out. And all of the other ones are great. It is hard to listen to this CD and not have a cold beer in your hand and a steak on the grill.
A genuine Texas treasure. This guy writes what I feel. Doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Go see him, buy his albums and pay atention to the words of his songs. They are real Texas stories

REK is a genius. I have only seen him twice - Saengerhalle in New Braunfels and the S.A. Rodeo. I need to sing a duet with you before I die. Night Right for Love. I'm there!
if you think that pat green even COMPARES to robert earl keen, you should go back to your living room and put on your nascar t-shirt. pat green was great, before he started trying to be tim mcgraw. rek is the real deal, and keeps putting out good music--not that cookie-cutter crap that pat has been so fond of lately.
Pat Green's music is so much better than rek's by far I've been to both of their concerts and PG puts on such a better concert then rek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
REK has got to be the best singer song writer in the Texas music seen. I have all of his CD's and can not wait for his next one. Anyone who says his last CD sucked has lost sight of what guy's like him and the other Texas Artest are doing. They are playing what they want to play not what so Dude in Nashvill tells them to play.
Robert Earl Keen is by far my most favorite artist out there. I have listened to Live No. 2 at least a million times and have never gotten sick of his music. His live shows are the best. Especially in San Angelo where everyone gets excited and has a great time.
