I'm the ultimate fan, but his shows in houston this year made me ashamed to say i listened to him. No front porch song, mariano, or Dreadful selfish crime. Just to name a few. Wosrt concert he has ever put on. If he keeps performing like that, he needs to perform for free. we would get our money's worth
REK is the best. There is not a man alive i would like to meet more. On 9 albums not a bad song. REK is my hero.
Saw REK for the first time ever last night. He was as good on stage as one would expect. The suprising thing about this show was the lack of newer music, but REK did play a very long set that was appreciated by the crowd after Blue Edmnonson failed to show up...
That being said I must say it was one of the most boring concernts I have been to in a while. It was held at the Reddirt Cafe in Norman. I know, Norman sucks, but REK doesn't play in OK very often so I thought what the hell. The crowd was made up of old people, the staff was made of idiots, and the location of the concert itself was really lame. ALthough the Reddirt Cafe claims to support independent music I don't recommend going there. Norman still sucks.
