My favorite Steve Earle album!!! Rocks
Steve Earle doesn't know anything about the military, it's members, how it operates, or the proceedings of war time in general. His "Rich Man's War" tune is a piece of fecal matter thrown directly at our men in service and their mission. From writing songs that sypathise with the Talaban's own John Walker to kicking the United States Soldier directly in the back of the head with "Rich Man's War," Earle is one of the poster children for the Anti American movement. He's old, he's drugged up fodder, and he uses his free speech to spit upon those who make sure that he has such freedoms. However, Earle sure does think a lot of his self and his own 'antiwar' bull crap. Just ask him, he'll tell ya. Steve should know a lot about rich men since he is one. He doesn't know anything about the Army and it's insulting to hear this pathetic individual speak as if he served himself, when in fact, he is nothing but a coward. I look forward to telling this to his face someday.
Your antiwar mumbojumbo is bullshit.
White trash at its best.Raw and deliberate. One of my favorite albums of all time. A must have for anyone who enjoys music.
You know what's funny? I don't really like Mr. Earl's stuff, but this album is one of the best in my collection. I've had El Corazon since it came out some years ago, and it's still a regular in my rotation, which is pretty extensive. GREAT WORK!!!
Steve Earle is one the best songwriters to ever grace the face of the earth. He is truly and original.
Steve Earle rocks! Y'all check out his latest cd, The Revolution Starts Now. Thank you, Steve, keep on rockin' and kickin' butt.
Damn! This cd kicks all kinds of ass. But then we've come to expect that from Steve.
Steve Earle's music is impotent.
The opening 4 cuts, Ashes to Ashes, Amerika v6.0, Conspiracy Theory and John Walker's Blues make this worth the money. A crash course in populist politics set to pretty darn good music. It's not your Daddy's country, but then Hank's been dead for a while.
