I heard their CD at a friends house yesterday and I loved it. Kenefick has a very good sound and they sound like a great c&w band that will be heard in lots of places, including states outside of Texas real soon. I wish them lots of good fortune!

Talk about easy on the ears! This is an incredible band for a group of guys just starting out. I highly recommend buying this one. "Texas Sky", tune #3, sure paints one-helluva picture for anyone home sick for the Lone Star State! And love that ghost track about the cows!

These guys kicked ass at Ropers in Sealy. I love their show and they have such a confident stage presence. Great tunes, too, especially alot of their original music. I hope they keep going all the way to the top of country music.

Saw Kenefick at a Houston Rodeo party event and liked them so much I want to see them again, maybe as a headliner NEXT YEAR at the same rodeo. They are really that good at playing fine country music and putting on a killer show. I sure liked their stage presence and the entire tempo of their group. I'm with everyone else on these guys: KENEFICK is BIG. (Neal from Seabrook)

Hey I've seen these guys play at Ropers and I agree with the other guy who said Kenefick will probably play in the dome for next year's Houston Rodeo. Everybody out here in Sealy loves them and we hope they keep coming back here after they get that big record deal that's bound to happen. They really play some great original dance hall music. The Hard Road CD is one of the best debut pieces I've ever heard. GOOD LUCK KENEFICK!

My ears perked up the minute I played their new CD. I started tappin' my foot on the truck floorboard on track one and never let up till the "Cows Yall" hidden track at the end. Damn good work by a damn good new band. I'll bet anybody out there that these fellas will be one of next year's Houston Rodeo perfomers. Any takers?

This is a nice, solid effort from a new band. Kenefick sounds very much like their own band, not like so many of the other acts currently based out of Texas. They really hit their stride on the harmonies, the lryics and the entire effort. Sure... Texas Music is hot with all the "Lone Star" flavor in so many new stars. The big difference I see with Kenefick is that although they do have a couple of numbers about Texas (Texas Sky, Pasa-Get-Down-Dena, and Long Night in Galveston,) the majority of this CD is pure dance hall, hold-your-sweetie shuffle country and western music! Way to go boys... hope you make it BIG time!

Very nice sound with all the harmonies. They sound like a real powerhouse group fixin to hit the big time like Lone Star, Blackhawk and even Alabama once was.

I am very impressed by this band's first CD. At first I thought I was buying another "Texas Country" CD, but I was pleasantly surprised when I left Cactus Records and put this thing in my truck's CD player. Kenefick DOES have a few nice Texas tunes, but most of the CD is chock full of great sounding stuff that you'd expect to hear from a ... prepare yourself ... a NASHVILLE HIT GROUP! That's not bad. It's just that these guys really harmonize, they play their instruments very well, the lyrics hit home, and everything just sounds high quality. I recommend KENEFICK to everyone and I hope they get a big record deal soon.
