Just beautiful. "The Art of Removing Wallpaper" is as good as it gets. Of course I thought the same thing when I heard Terri's last album ("The Ring"), but with each CD, she gets twice as good. I've had this for a couple of days now (pre-ordered on Terri's site), and all I can say is "wow." "Breakdown," "One Way," "Monopoly," "Judgment Day," "One Night Stand" ... I buy a heckuva lot of music, and I don't expect I'll be more moved by a single batch of songs this year.
She's done it again! Always thoughtful, often fun. Great CD!
Terri's 21 February Show at Floore's reached break through heights. This was a show that so completely wrapped the audience into the music experience that an electricity penetrated Floore's for an hour after the show's end. The small groups gathered talking and praising the performance which encompassed old favorites as well as new material. The multiple instrument talent of Lloyd Maines is still exploring new avenues of expression which make every tune an exciting auditory adventure. Terri' vocals, guitar mastery, Glen's pulsating bass and Paul's possessed percussion give the Band variety, breadth and contagious electricity. A texas jewel soon to be a national star!
Terri continues to amaze and delight all her fans with each new album. The Ring is the best yet!! Tight arrangements with Lloyd Maines, a must have for all Terri fans, and if you are not a fan, you should be!!
This CD is vintage Terri Hendrix. Just got it in the mail (pre-ordered). A must have for Terri Hendrix fans.
Terri Hendrix has something. Something that combines talent, passion, integrity, the ability to wear "duckies and bunnies" overalls and write songs that take you on a journey. She is a great performer on her own. But with legendary Lloyd Maines by her side, she is amazing. I recently bought her new "Live in San Marcos" and it's awesome. Everything she sings and covers becomes uniquely hers. "Born to be Wild" on a dobro. Wow. She is one of the best singer/songwriters around and one of the nicest I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
This is my first time to hear Terri, and so far I have been greatly impressed. Love to hear more of this good stuff. Keep doing what your doing terri. All the best from Ireland. Slainte
