One of the best CDs of the year. Great singer/songwriter on the rise.

This is an absolutely incredible cd. One of the best I've heard in ages.

A lot of artist should take note of this album. "12 Pieces" is an ecclectic batch of songs cooked up by a very talented writer, who truely expresses himself. There is no *#%-kissing or ego-tripping on "12 Pieces." Just a guy doing what he likes to do. Ever so often an album comes along that transcends being categorized as one type of music, and is just great music. Think Bruce Springstein's "Nebreska" or Guy Clark's "Old #1." There's a track or two that fall short, but all in all it sounds like McClure made this album for the love of music; which is why people should make music in the first place.

This guy has real talent--his songwriting skills are untouchable--best cd I have bought this year.

I received my copy last week in time for a Saturday gig ... great stuff indeed ... to Mr Norman Sucks ... what can I say ... you guys are amazing ... what difference does it make ... anyway, my favorite track is "Between Two Thieves" --- the last cut ... it's one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life ... if you are a Christian and can appreciate what Jesus Christ did for everyone (even those from Norman) this song will move you like no other ... the piano intro is chilling and Mike expresses his faith to the max ... Like I said before ... the music coming down from Oky is great stuff ... you all should be very proud ... Hook Em Horns !!!
