Jeez Hardy...what were you even doing at the show in Belville? It's one thing to have an opinion, but seems to me you don't like Stoney's music, so why were you even there? And as for Rock Star, Stoney writes or co-writes most of his music. And the songs he chooses to cover are songs by very well respected and talented artists, so who cares? Great music is great music...keep rockin' Stoney!!

that was kinda harsh hardy. i too was present in bellville and granted it did have its down points esp. when he played "the weight" for 15 minutes when his set was only an hour and a half long to begin with....but the old bluegrass tunes they did kicked major a$$. i also thought he played to many covers in his set. it would have been nice to hear some of his older stuff again
if i could go lower than one star i surely would, at the austin you county fair stoney absolutely sucked. i mean come on i know all your fellow bands are rising up to be more popular, and just because Oklahoma breakdown is played on the radio all the time now "someone" gets a big head and thinks they are the Sh*t. WRONG! i mean come on he didnt even right the damn song, so STONEY GET OVER YOURSELF!

Perhaps the most talented of all the Okie red dirt artists. But really, this guy is just a glorified cover band. Is there anything original? Write your own songs and then you might be legit.
Went to the Red Dirt Round-Up,Stoney is a true professional with addicting music. The more we see, the more we want to see. We've been to three shows and can't wait for another!
over produced??? im afraid not. this record is very cut and dry. his new record which is due to come out in the fall should be very good. im expecting a much better sounding record compared to the red dirt album. should be great
