Hey Walt I was looking for a christmas presant for dad and and it lead me to this website and I was look at at the artists and I saw you adn I just wanted to say hi and that I love your music
Walt is the most passionate singer that i have seen in awhile. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Albert ice house and he is as awesome of a person as he is a preformer. You have got to see him you if you enyjoy real soul and passion in your music.
If only there was a sixth star to rate "Hopewell." I originally bought this album for "Rambler," but the more I listened the more I realized the entire CD was a masterpiece. "Angels Share," is an excellent ballad that really makes you feel like slow sippin' some Beam. My favorite would be "Somedays a Dollar, Somedays a Dime," another excellent tune from Walt.
I saw Walt a few months back in Austin. There was a guy there who told me Walt looked like Jesus. I couldn't help but tell folks after that, that Walt "writes like Jesus". I don't mean to offend anyone, but listening to these last two albums have been like reading the Bible at times.
Thanks Walt
Thanks Walt for making me believe the balladeer is still alive. These lyrics and harmonies pierce to the marrow even to the darkest soul. If you like Texas flavored music, buy this NOW !!
This is an EXCEPTIONAL CD, easily the best CD since Hayes Carll's Little Rock. Real country music from a real singer-songwriter. Folks, if you don't like this CD then you're just f'ing dead.
