Album Review
This is not the Kevin Fowler we are all used to, but there is enough fiddle and steel guitar that his Texas sound is not lost. The songs are still catchy and humorous like the older material on his other albums, but you just here a little Nashville. I will still buy it and love it, but STAY WITH YOUR ROOTS, that is what got you here.

hey bt, in keeping with your freedom of speech idea, what i was trying to say is that you threw rrb into the mix of the guys who had sold out to n-ville. not true, or else you would hear them on mainstream radio all the time. i am not sure why you are so upset about someone disagreeing with you. back off dude!!!

I live in Arizona, and think that this sounds like it's going to be an awesome composite of cool tunes, even if every other song isn't about the "great state"! (Trashville)you've got to be kidding!? Kevin you rock~ good luck with the new album.

As an empolyee of "The World's Largest Honkytonk" (Billy Bob's Texas), I've seen a lot of artist come and go in there and I would have to say that Texas music rules. Kevin Fowler is my all time favorite that stops in from time to time. He's played a few of his songs off the new CD and WOW!!! There GREAT!!! As for Kevin himself, he is an awesome guy. Every time I've see him perform he just keeps getting better and the crowd keeps getting bigger. He's as friendly as they get and he remember's alot of his fans, and not just hey yeah I know you but the how's things going kind of remember. He's truly a great guy and I can't wait for the new CD. Love you Kevin!

Album Review
I'm from Oklahoma originally, western Oklahoma. I have always loved Kevin and have loved his music. I agree with some of the reviews, he's definitely taken his music more "mainstream" and more "Nashville" but as an owner of all of his albums and after hearing the track snippets, this album is going to be incredible! Sure, it's not as "traditional" and as "raw and unpolished" as his former projects, but it's still Kevin and it still has plenty of fiddle and steel on the tracks and that same fender tele sound that all of his albums have. It may take some time to warm up to this album for former die-hard fans, but just give it a chance. Kevin needs more national distribution and recognition, and if leaning a little further towards Nashville helps him get the chance that he needs to do something on a larger scale, while still sticking to his guns and keeping his music "him", then all the power to him.
