This guy can't sing at all,which would be ok if he was a better writer but he is not.
Im sure that alot of people disagree but
I think the reason people like him because he is so bad that they think it is raw and edgy,when really he is just a hack that got lucky.
So, T Bone Burnett's producing the new album.Sounds like a good combination.Grammy's may take notice.But,who needs a gold plated paper weight?I guess I'll have to get my fix of blistering Marc Ford solos elsewhere.

Just saw you in College Station, TX. Best concert I have ever seen hands down. Encore was BAD A** Cant wait till you come around again definitely worth every penny. Played til about 1:30 in the morning. Best show ever seen.

The only reason ponyhill 71 didn't like this album is because hes gay and doesn't know what he's talking about. This album kicks ass!
i saw ryan & the dead horses at the stingaree music festival at crystal beach texas. he did an awesome show and really entertained the crowd at coconuts after his show. i like the roadhouse sun album but LOVE hey hey hurray! this kid is a great live show!
many of the songs' lyric/vocal style were almost identical to songs ont he first album, just slightly different backing music...sounded like a garage 'jam band' kinda album to me (where the drummer plays one beat and the guitars try different riffs over and over and the singer comes up with something off the cuff and says it over and over and over)...albume deff didn't live up to the hype to me...I was expecting alot more
