Oh baby!! This is one scrumptios CD, and the cover art and photos add to the value for me!! Jack is such a hawt cutie, and it is to his credit that he is such a great musician and singer as well. This Is It! is such a fabulous album, and I have loved reading all the great reviews in all the national and local publications. What an affirmation for Jack's talent that all the world is figuring out our boy from Texas and what we all have loved about him for so long!!

Yep, 5 stars, but more like 10 stars because this CD is such a reward for all the waiting, Jack. I am excited about all these songs on This Is It! for differing reasons. They each have their own level of connection, and that is one of my criterion for a truly great CD. Not one of the songs sounds like any other, and each delivers a depth and breadth that I have come to expect from Jack Ingram. Jack delivers what he promises, and he never lets me down: he is a sincere, honest, clever writer, an above average interpreter of other's music, and the best live performer I can name. There is no one like him that I know. This CD is replacing Electric as my #1 favorite, and I have only had it one week!!

The Toni & Guy haircut Jack sports is not working for him, though it complements his feminine easy-listening pop rock music now.

Jack, Jack, Jack.....what can I say that hasn't been said about all of you guys that turned Nashville. The writing and singing is weak. Where is the man that burnt a Mustang and screamed Hey You. Lips of an Angel has a good feel, but it don't compare to Hinder. However you have my respect.

This is one kick ass album! Bought it yesterday and can't get enough of it!! Reminds me of how I felt when I first discovered Jack and his tender songs like Love Song for Amy and Beat Up Ford. This one is destined to be a classic Jack!! Yeah, I love his shows, I love his wild and woolly stage persona, but at the heart of all Jack music is his heart, his unique way of looking at the world around him. Must be that psychology degree!! So, I am very grateful for This Is It!! Jack has been on one heck of a path to get here, and I respect him so much for his uncompromising spirit and his journey to the top of his field.

What a way I have come from listening to a baby-faced kid playing at Adairs in deep Ellum in Dallas. And what a way for Jack Ingram, as well!! But nothing has changed my deep love of JIngram's music, and the way I feel about how he delivers a song, and the emotions behind his live performances. And this new CD has delighted me all this week as I listened to every song, over and over, basking in the next level of excellence that Jack has achieved. He is truly a great artist, Texas artist, yes, but artist for the USA, too!! The country better get ready!!

This Is It! rocks!! This CD is a true expression of Jack's many talents and moods, from his radio hits to his soulful songs that we all love from his acoutic shows to the new material, it is an outstanding album. The production is subtle and enhances the musicality of this CD. Way to go, Mr. Ingram.
