Tom Russell once said, "Brian's music should be required listening in classrooms all over Texas." Well, these days it seems it is. We went to hear Brian tonight in Dallas, and he commented that his voice was hoarse from singing to 7th grade TX history students all day yesterday. Didn't sound hoarse to me, in fact, when he did his new song "Border Radio", the bartender even stopped serving drinks for those three minutes and just stood there dumbfounded. I've no doubt this new CD will be required listening in my truck for the next few months.

My goodness, my goodness! The voice of an angel! I heard Thunderstorms And Tyler Roses and I've never heard anything from Brian who? lol. I can't think of a song or voice I have been so excited about. Thank goodness for internet, I just had to have the song. I'm a musician and song writer and this blew me away. Can't wait to get my CD.

Album Review
I didn't know that I could like one of Brian's CD's more than I already like all of the other Brian Burns CD's, but this one is just remarkable. We love every song on it! Of course, we love every song that Brian sings!

I've got to say, I was expecting another “The Eagle and the Snake”, but man Brian—you knocked this one out of the park! I love the change up and the big band sound on “Del Rio” and “The Pink Flamingo”. But by far, the best track is “The Prettiest Girls In Texas (live in San Antone)—truer words have not been sung. Every album gets better and better. Thanks for your artistic honesty and huge contribution to Texas music. Great work!

Brian is to Texas Music what enchiladas are to Tex-Mex. He does a great live show and all of his recordings are worth way more than the money you will spend. I'm really looking forward to receiving Border radio.

All of Brian's work is outstanding. And, he has a great educational program for elementary schools.
