Great CD!!! Got it when it first came out and still play it after a bad day! If you don't like the Chicks, then just shut up and let me enjoy for you. This is a CD that exhibits musical talent, vocals and all! Let them say what they want and let me say what I want! Stop whining and crank it up!
The new CD has really grown on me. I especially like the songs with Gary Louris.

All the chix need is Texas. If you don't like em get out, Texans say what they want. Great CD and a great new single.
I bought this album because how impressed I was with the group on the Howard Stern Show, and I am surprised that I like the music. I also appreciate their opinions and think that those who hate them for speaking thier mind need too remember what the troops are fighting for.
I highly recommend this album.
James, criticizing our president does not mean anyone is hating their country or jeopardizing one's security. I can't even believe this has to be explained to someone. I'd love you to explain exactly when one's right to speak their mind should be curtailed. Please, tell us when the first amendment should be stifled. I'm an air force recruiter, I proudly serve my country, and I serve my country so that women such as the dixie chicks can speak their mind without being called an "imbecile."
They are fantastic musicians, whether or not you agree with them does not change the fact that this album is fantastic. AD HOMINEM.
Ok, did we forget what kind of website this is? It is a music store, so thus the reviews are of music. I don't agree with what was said by Natalie, but I still think that the Chicks have killer music. You have to learn to seperate the musician from the music. If you base your musical taste totally on what kind of personality the artist has, there would be a LOT of great music you miss out on.
