Turns out Radney aint so frickin' rad. Heard a lot of hype over the CD and it turned out to be just that, hype he was better live or maybe I was drunk.
other people than FRAT boys like Pat Green, so lay off! Get your shit straight.
Great Live CD, kind of mellow though. Too bad he bowed down to the frat crowd and put Pat Green on it.
Just didn't live up to my expectations, was disapointed in the work.
I saw Radney for the first time in 94' at a club in San Angelo,TX. His songs were precise and his voice had a great edge.Later in the night,he jumped down off the stage and danced with one of the best looking girls in the place during one of the guitar solos. I've been hooked ever since. His songwriting amazes me. I can promise you that you'll never hear some joker like Tim Mcgraw make a stripped down record and sound this good. Luckily, this record isn't Nashville, it's just damn good.
I've heard better. Save your $
Every song on this CD is superb. When one song comes on you will think it is your favorite on the CD until the next song begins. This is a must buy CD.......
My family saw Radney and his band @ Gruene Hall last year @ the Americana Music Festival. My daughter sat on the stage while Radney and the band were doing what they do best. "Nobody Wins" is a GREAT song!Keep up the good music my friend. peace
