Three Days
Album Review
This song picks up right where Carry On left off. It sounds very similar, much different than his old stuff like Dancehall Dreamer and Georges Bar, but it still is the same old Pat Green. Three Days and We've All Got Our Reasons are the best new songs in my opinion. There are many songs that would make great national singles (the above mentioned, Take Me Out To A Dancehall, Texas On My Mind, etc.). Let the man make his money and gain national recognition...he's earned it. Why not show the nation what Texas Country is all about. In time everyone will know of him and the great music from the lonestar state.

Non-stop foot tapping, sing along, feel good music. I picked up this CD and it is always in my CD player.

Shifting Gears
Album Review
This is the best damn CD, I've heard in a LONG time. Mostly all new songs, with a studio version of Willies Guitar and a remake of one of their first songs - County Colors. The new songs written by Matt Martidale are like an evolution, they have come so far since their first CD...Before this CD, I always liked them live better than in a studio . This CD has taken a great live band and brought out a great studio sound. Guest appearances by Cindy Cashdollar, Brendon Anthony and Pat Green just add nicely to the CD, but it's the lyrics and Martindale's abililty to "turn a phrase" that sticks in your mind. This band has its finger on the pulse of the West Texas High Plains. "Sheriff out to edge of the county... throw you right out, shiftin gears" You can just see the tumbleweeds blow across the Illano Estacto.

It's A Texas Thing
When I bought this cd I thought I'd be listening to a whole lot more than I actually have been. It has its moments, but there are too many 'joke' songs (for lack of a better term) like "Red Neck Riviera," "Cow Pasture Pool" (a song about golf!?! Why?), and "Here's To Horses" (although when you put it like Gary P. does, being a ladies saddle for eternity sounds okay - you get to be "between the two things I love most"). Two of my favorites on this cd are "Taking Bob Back To Tulsa" and "Honking Out Some Hank." These are worthy tribute songs. The rest of the cd is not what I expected, though. It has its moments, but it's pretty uneven and goes back and forth between good and not-so-good songs.

Three Days
Album Review
Pat is not a "sell out" and everyone of us would do the same thing he has done given the opportunities. I like this album, not every song but for the most part this album is Pure Pat....pure Texas... best new Track: "We all got our reasons"

Album Review
Hay Everyone Bad Mouthing Pat For Going Nashville, Give Him A Chance. He Is Getting A Chance To Promote The Texas Music Scene To The World. Don't Turn On Him He Still Is A Great Texas Singer/Songwritter, Lets See What He Does With This Chance. I Have Not Heard 3 Days Yet, But I Am Looking Forward To Hearing It. Pat Has The Chance To Open The Door For All Of The Texas Musicans, Lets Give Him The Chance He Has Earned. Y'all Didn't Turn On Robert Earl Keen When He Got His Chance, Give Pat A Chance. He Has A Recording Contract And Nothing More From Nashville. He Still Is A Texan Doing Texas Music, It Is Just Now To A Larger Audence. To Pat I Say Good Luck And Stay Texan.

Country Sunshine
Another excellent album by this great songwriter/musician. "What would Willie Do" is my new philosophy for life.

Three Days
Album Review
Really 3-1/2. Seems all of Pat's fans are either hot or cold. The first time through I didn't think too much of it. Second time the new songs sounded much better, as for the re-recorded songs, he should have re-released some of the old recordings. Lets face it this album seems to have a more "produced" sound than the other CD's. Not a bad CD but in my opinion Carry-On is still his best work to date.

Gravitational Forces
5 stars would have to be perfect. They should have left off "Snowing on Raton" and "The Road Goes on Forever". As far as it not being his "Style" it fits pretty damned well with his other work. Sorry to the beer drinkers there is more to life than "The Road Goes on Forever"! It gets better with every listen.

Album Review
I got an advance copy of this Cd, and it is very subpar. It seems like a glossed over version of what pat has been doing the last 15 years. Pat has gone nashville with this record, and im not sure thats a good thing.
