Artist Review
Jack is one of the freshest sounding guys on the alt country scene. He is a great songwriter and performer. His band, especially the incredible guitarist, are the best.

Album Review
I bought this CD because I kept seeing great reviews on the site and I must say....wow! Adam Carroll is one of the best songwriters I've heard in a long, long, time... Adam's pen is his paintbrush and his songs paint a glorius mural of East Texas.

This kid is what country music has been needing for a long time. He has the ability to make you laugh or make you cry - either way he makes you listen. His originals are just that - original. I can't wait to see what his next album is going to be. If its better than the first two then we're all in for a treat.

10 Beers From Now
This is one of the funniest albums I have ever heard. Simple and hilarious, it makes me want to drink beer.

Cooder Graw
Album Review
I saw these guys for the first time when they opened for Pat at Gruene Hall in March. They blew me away, and I immediately bought this cd. Even though I didnt know any songs, they put on an incredible show. Now everyone I know is hooked on this cd. Look for these guys to stick around for a long time. I cant wait for them to get to Dallas in July.....

You want to see a real band that does it all, check out CCR. Not only are they great musicians, but these guys are about as genuine as you can get. They welcome whomever on stage and are always up for grabbing a beer. Cody is one of the most talented lead men I've ever seen. His songwriting deserves to be heard. I am truly a devoted fan to these guys now and probably always will be. I cannot wait to hear what they do next. If you guys are reading this, good luck and stick to what you are doing now. See you in Austin soon. Talk about adopting...listen up TEXAS and let's claim these boys. The only guys that can make eating a corn dog sound cool. I like corn dogs too!!!

I just got through seeing these guys play in Lubbock tonight at the Blue Light and let me tell you, I was more than impressed. I can't imagine this stuff comes out of young, college guys. They had a blast playing and the crowd had a blast listening. Dance floor packed, people screaming and yelling, and the lead singer put on a hell of a show. Definitely get out and see these guys if you get the chance.

Jason Boland & The Stragglers
Artist Review
I have to agree with Michelle. I met the guys at the LJT Fest this year and got to play with them around the campfires. It was great to play my own songs and have them play along. They were very real, talented and gracious. I went to see them at Adair's in Dallas on Thursday the 15th and found out even more. Not only is Jason an incredible singer/songwriter but the band blew me away. The crowd was wild all night. A highlight for me was discovering that Roger Ray not only plays dobro, as he did at LJT but plays a mean steel and lead guitar. Dana Hazards fiddle work added much and the band kept us all hopping. A great bonus for me was on my ride home. I live a ways North and listened to their CD. Jason and The Stragglers also have some ballads and introspective songs which are great. There is not a bad song on this CD. We all love good Texas Country and even though these boys are from Oklahoma I think we should adopt them.

I just bought my fifth copy of this CD. Why, you ask? Because it is my way of converting people to Texas Music. I have given away four copies to my closest friends who needed to be "saved". Check it out if you haven't already. Then start converting everyone you know.
