This hidden den of music and munchies has a speakeasy feel--you have to knock to gain entrance...Buried in the warehouse district, this Tex-Mex cafe was born in 1949 (a picture of Franklin Roosevelt hangs over the bar, hung there by the original proprietor, Elena Lopez) and continues on in its tradition of supplying yummy food and good music. Out back, surrounded by trees, lies a partially covered patio with a medium-sized stage and plenty of room for dancing. It's comfortable and gives the feel of being in someone's backyard.
