The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo is a non-profit organization. Over 2,200 volunteers, donors and sponsors contribute to the Star of Texas mission of serving the youth of Texas. In 2004, the Star of Texas will award approximately $1.3 million in scholarships and auction proceeds to the youth of our great state. Over the last 20 years, the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo has awarded over $18 million to 13,500 students.
