The Lucky Mule Saloon is the next step for a company that has been experiementing, tweaking, and working tirelessly to master one thing...how to throw the wildest, craziest, and best party in town every single night. The company started in 1997 in Denton, Texas with its' first club known as "The Groovy Mule." This was the first place in town to succeed as a large dance club and live music venue. Following the success of Groovy Mule, the company opened "RBAR", which just recently celebrated its' 9-year anniversary. In 2003, Groovy Mule was turned into "Reign Entertainment Complex" which was also a huge success and was sold in 2004. In 2005, the company set its sights on Rockin Rodeo in Denton. The club had been open since 2002, but never really made a big impact on Denton. Focusing on bringing in great live Red Dirt music such as Randy Rogers, Kevin Fowler, Eli Young, Stoney LaRue, and more, Rockin Rodeo has become one of the most successful clubs in Denton. We also bring in great rock acts like Bowling for Soup, Reverend Horton Heat, The Feds, Faktion, and more. Making the other nights a real party and not just another night on the town, Rockin Rodeo has now easily become the greatest place to party in Denton and to see great shows weekly. And now......We are bringing The Lucky Mule Saloon to Abilene, Texas!! Our company prides itself on being able to transform night to night to offer something different to almost everyone. Wednesdays we become the hottest spot to dance and party to your favorite Top 40 & Hip Hop. We pride ourselves on keeping the scene clean with a strict dress code.
