It started with a couple of guys getting together to play some ol’ time music. “It’s not the kind of music I was drawn to, it’s the kind of music I was spawned to,” says guitarist Andy Cox. A.M. Ramblers formed in April of 2007 and quickly began cultivating their own brand of Americana and Folk music, highlighted by tight multi-part vocal harmonies. The group consists of Andy Cox and Brandyn Littleton on guitar, Mark Moncrieff on fiddle, Cory Coleman with the mandolin, Jordan Batson pickin’ on the banjo, and Will Short bringing it all together on the upright bass. Since June 2007, A.M. Ramblers have performed all across the state of Texas. Their first full length self titled album was released in June of 2008 and the band continues to play on.
