Deluxe CD/DVD edition. 2014 live release from the rockin' Country singer/songwriter. Jackson Taylor is a storyteller, plain and simple. He combines his real life experiences with old school Country elements and throws in the flavors of Punk and Southern Rock to create a style all his own. Jackson Taylor continues to break the rules of traditional Country music with his straightforward lyrics, ''take it or leave it''

approach, intense live performances, and the drive and determination of a freight train. Recorded in July of 2013, Jackson Taylor & the Sinners became the 45th artist/band to join the LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS music series. In keeping with the originality of Jackson Taylor & the Sinners, the band recorded their LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS CD and DVD at midnight from 81 Club, a new Billy Bob's Texas venue just steps from the club.

The CD and DVD captures the true essence of the Sinners and provides a front row seat to the rowdy and raucous live show that you can relive again and again.

"The Greatest Honky Tonk Band in the Fu#&ing Universe" has released their best work to date. Although most of the songs are previously released this is far from a "greatest hits" album. Rather, a reimagining of some of Taylor's best songs with a minimal instrumentation and raw production. Maybe the best version of "It's not supposed to be that way" dare I say I prefer it to even Waylon's. Just saw him in Kvinesdal Norway last weekend and the live show is even better! Great work Sinners!!

I don't remember most of the first concert I saw Jackson Taylor Band play at Roosters on the Strip in Stillwater... all's I remember was that it was snowing like hell and my friends and I were there early (3PM) to closing time(2am). I do remember getting cutoff not too far into the show, hanging out with two members of the band during intermission, and coming away with a free t-shirt and a CD, both of which I still have five years later! I got to see them once more after that and they were awesome! Their new music is even better than the old stuff. On top of being great artists, they're all great guys too, which makes them a band worth spending your hard earned money to support by buyng their albums and going to their concerts!

Jackson Taylor writes about stuff that the workin man can relate to. The stories may be about him and his family, but we've all been there.

VinnyTheShark
Ok, let Vinny try this again. Tried posting a review yesterday, but it never showed up. Anyways, Vinny was in Coffeyville, Kansas Saturday for the Jamey Johnson, Stoney Larue and Jackson Taylor show. Jackson Taylor scored major points Saturday and here's why: 1. They came out to Danzig's "Mother". 2. Jackson's rant on hippies, commies, and Obama. 3. Giving props out to Social Distortion. 4. Vinny was too far to read Jackson's shirt but it looked like a Dropkick Murphys' shamrock shirt. 5. The song dedication to all the beautiful women at the show. And 6. The rest of the show (music) was pretty damn good too. Vinny came away impressed and even picked up at sticker from the dude that came out in the crowd handing them out. Good show JT and Los Sinners. Vinny will have to check them out again soon.

Vinny The Shark
On a next to the last minute decision, Vinny and some friends drove up to Coffeyville, Kansas yesterday for the Jamey Johnson, Stoney Larue, and Jackson Taylor Band concert. Vinny's gotta admit, he really dug JTB's show. JT scored some major points by: 1. Coming out to Danzig's "Mother". 2. His rant about hippie commies and Obama. 3. Giving props to Social Distortion before "Ball & Chain" and 4. Vinny was standing too far away to make out JT's shirt, but it looked like either a Dropkick Murphys or Social D Shamrock shirt. All in all, it was a great set. And yes, this is the real Vinny The Shark, from Moore, Oklahoma. Just giving props where it's due. Good times in the rodeo arena in Coffeyville.

JT - we saw your show at the Spicewood Buzzard Bump this weekend and while it wasn't well attended those who weren't there missed a wondeful time. It was a pleasure to meet you and thanks for spending a moment to talk . See you in New Braunfels on the 19th Bob
