Led by front man Jason Savory (Ripley, OK), this grass-roots, altcountry combo provides a raw, energetic style that is filled with soulful melodic nuances! “Entertaining fans with the red dirt sound that has long been streaming out of Payne County with the commercial appeal that is radio-friendly, JSB has built quite a following and feels right at home entertaining the crowd.” Jim Blair-President, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame
Performing at nearly 150 events in the last year, Jason has been hitting the red dirt territory hard, promoting his self-titled debut album JASON SAVORY. The album is loaded with essential country tracks, ringing with hints of Gary Allan’s influence. The first single, “Wife For A Night” was produced by Nashville recording artist and star David Frizzell. “Those Days Are Gone”, co-produced by Eric Delegard and Tony Payne was recorded at Reel Time Audio in Denton, TX. JSB was voted 2006 Payne County Line New Band of The Year and “Wife For A Night” received Single of The Year setting the stage for a promising 2006!
Travis Woodson (Dewey, OK) keeps the beat on drums with a smooth, hard-hitting manner that leaves you wanting more. Multi-instrumentalist, Jason Trotter (Choctaw, OK) lends a fresh, funky sound on bass that’s sure to keep you on your toes and like a bullet just out of its chamber, lead guitarist and back up vocalist Cody Patton (Broken Arrow, OK) rocks the house with signature licks that transcend country music.
If not on the road playing shows or working on tracks for the new album, you’ll find these guys mending fences, working cattle, fixing tractors, hunting, fishing or spending time with family and friends.
“These guys have got what it takes to be big, so catch them while you can,” said Chad Weaver, Program Director/Host of The Crossroads radio program, 98.1 KVRO in Stillwater, OK.
