Tony is no stranger to the serious side of having fun. His music is carefully selected to reach and involve his audience, and presented in a decidedly fun-loving manner – he’s performed stand-up comedy in Texas and California, and spent two years in radio as a sidekick on a morning show called “The Bel and Barker Breakfast Club” (KBCY-FM and KORQ-FM, Abilene, TX.). His presentation is friendly, off-the-wall, sometimes risqué (without being crude), and generally has one purpose – to cultivate an atmosphere of music and fun that brings an audience back for more. Musically, Tony has been performing in bands, duets, and solo shows for almost two decades, in a wide range of styles – Classic Rock, Texas Music, Country, Tejano, Folk, Christian Choir (a featured soloist for two years under Bettyann Blackburn, and a 50’s Rock & Roll band called Rumbleseat, which both opened, and served as backup band for Jewel Akins (The Birds and The Bees, Love Potion No. 9), and The Coasters (Charlie Brown, Yakkety Yak, Little Egypt, Along Came John, et. al.). at the Abilene Civic Center. His original material is drawn from the wide variety of experiences that come from a very mobile Air Force background - he's been a welder, a limosine driver, a construction worker and a martial arts instructor. He's managed a manufacturing plant, two different radio stations, and taught First Aid for the American Red Cross. As insightful as his writing is, however, you’ll have to listen carefully to hear it – audience response is an important part of the show, and tapping along with a familiar tune is a powerful smile producer. Other than that, the main thing he wants you to know is that the witnesses were paid, the photos were faked, and his signature doesn't look anything like that. (This is a line shamelessly swiped from Will Shetterly, with no intention of giving credit to the author whatsoever.)
