Ty Dillon is an American, Texas Country Singer/Songwriter based out of San Marcos, Texas. Originally from San Antonio, Ty left his hometown in 2012 to pursue a degree in music business from Dallas Baptist University. Then, after beginning his career, Ty made the decision to move to the hub of Americana and Texas Music songwriters; The hill country of Texas. He was regularly performing original tunes in San Marcos at the historically renowned Cheatham Street Warehouse where Kent Finlay hosted Songwriters Night every Wednesday. Like many "Cheatham Street" greats, Ty began performing with his band as often as possible at Cheatham, following in the footsteps of legends such as George Strait and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
He began recording in the winter of 2012 and in 2013, Ty put out his debut five song EP. Some of Ty's very first original tunes are included on the EP. Ty then began learning more about the music business in preparation for the future. In 2015, after lots of hard work, Ty put out a full length record entitled Sunsets and Pickups and is currently on tour promoting the album.
