Kid Rock meets the worst Skynard cover band you've ever heard. The folks that are describing the genius of this record must have bought a different cd that I did. My copy makes an excellent coaster to set my beer on while listening to my new Dwight Yoakam cd that kicks ass!
Best country album in a long time! Love every song!
What a dud. A good studio and having the right last name can work wonders, but can't cover up how bad this is
my husband is wild about Shooter's music and his down to earth everyday kind of guy way about his appearance and music.i would love to be able to give him a night with Shooter performing,he's never been one to say he'd like to see a performer and Shooter in an exception.I personally believe he did put the O back in country.signed,Lisa who would like to make her husbands day.
Weak and contrived. Bad singing, but Shooter makes up for it because he can't even strum in time.
I really enjoy listening to Shooter's first album. I can't wait for the next.....
This is hands down the best collections of songs in the last decade, and i'm not talking about just country music either. From beginning (I'm rollin like a freight train, comin straight at you) to end (And the way I find myself lovin you, is the best thing I've ever done). This truly is a great cd. I listen to it constantly. I'm hooked! Shooter is with out a doubt the best thing out there, period.
How exactly does one put the "o" back in country by playing with Toby Keith? Save the "He's just trying to spread his music to as many people as possible" excuse. Pat Green already trotted that lame ass excuse out there. This apple fell far from the tree.
I just have to say that as a huge Waylon fan, I was nervous picking up Shooter's CD--those are giant footsteps to walk in, but I was pleasantly surprised!!! Shooter is really, really good! His songs are great, and I am glad to see that he wrote them himself and that he plays guitar--he is no poser, he is the REAL DEAL!!!
Just fantastic. Makes me remember why I liked country in the first place.
