This album is by far one of the best written, and produced albums I have heard come out of the Texas scene. I think it definately sets the bar at a whole new level for everyone. It may not be "country" but let's face it this scene started as an alternative to the crap that was coming out of Nashville and this is definately that. Well done Bleu!!! You hit it out of the park with this one!!
Brilliant songwriter. As is evident both on the cd and at his live shows, Blue is as honest of a songwriter there is. Last time I saw his show, his oncore consisted of him solo on an acustic playing requests. The man loves to sing. Best live show there is. The Echo (Maybe Tonight) is the best song I have heard in a long time. Texas Music at its best!

WOW! This a different sound from what we know and love about BLEU, but I enjoyed the whole CD so much. The lyrics were so deep and moving, so much pain. I know this album had to be good therapy for BLEU. I LOVED the track THE MORNING AFTER (The Night Before) AWESOME song and I just love the sound of his voice on this album as well. I just can't say enough good things about this new CD. Way to go Bleu! Your a deep SOUL!!
Whether this cd is more "emo" and less "Texas Country" let the man play his music. This is one of the best cd's I have heard in a long time. It is kind of nice seeing someone have the balls to sing about something other than drinking beer and the state of Texas.
Incredible. A great crossover CD Bleu! Lyrics, music, everything is outstanding. If only a couple of other "Texas Legends" could make the same leap in their own way...maybe next time I see you live, you will open for CM.
