I've seen Bleu a bunch of times and he and the band never cease to amaze me. The album is very close to musical and songwriting perfection as I've heard in a long while and I listen to all kinds of Texas music. You can hear how Bleu's musical influences such as Ronnie Van Zant, the Almond brothers, Robert Earl and Willie manifest themselves in his music and all over the album. The album is great, but it's even better to see the guys in concert as Coby showcases his amazing skill on the guitar and Bleu plays some of his heroes' songs and you can hear how important they are to him as he plays their songs and speaks of their influences. In short, buy the album and go see the boys in concert to see true artists.

This album puts me in the best mood! It's fresh, fun, and addictive! I'm ready for the next album! Keep on jammin' Bleu!

Ok so I haven't heard the whole album just yet. I have only heard what parts of the songs are on Bleu's site but I must say I like them all and can't wait to get the album. You guys are great. I love to hear true Texas artists.

Southland is an awesome album, can't wait until the next one is ready. I still play and receive many requests for $50.00 and a Flask of Crown, followed closely by cut #8- You Don't Know Me, as well as cut #3-It's about You, and I lately have had more requests for cut #9-It's All Right. Bleu Edmondson is the BEST! If you are in this site by freak accident, and lets hope you are not, but if you are then you really need to go see this man in concert. I thought Pat and Roger were good....they ain't got nothin on Bleu! I personaly have gone over 400 miles to see this man, and I would do it for EVERY show if I could! Bleu, you are the GREATEST and I will see ya around. Keep up the GREAT work!!!

I keep readin all this shit about Bleu bein "as good" as Pat or REK..... ARE YOU PEOPLE DEAF..... DOn't get me wrong, I love Pat and Robert...but neither of those guys nor anyone else I can think of has half the frikin heart in his music that Bleu does.... "Got an angle ridin shotgun, got the devil in the back, and the war they wage is gonna tear me apart" if that don't make you wana cry then you aren't human... Not only is Bleu the most heartfelt honest singer/songwriter I've heard in a LONG WHILE... but when was the last time Pat or REK showed up at your kep party and then went and drank beer in some strangers kitchen with you till 5 in the morning.... KEPP IT UP BUDDY THE WORLD NEEDS MORE LIKE YOU....and anyone goin to Colorado for the Pat&Cory show be sure and hassal the shit out of the promoters about why the hell Bleu isn't there too.....

Saw these guys in Dallas at Boar's Nest. They are incredible! I was just passing by the club to go to another and was pulled inside by a friend! We stayed all night...never made it to the other club. Bought the c.d. and am enyoying alot. I have found a new band.

well just to set it straight it wasnt the crowd chanting it but it was a group of guys who were yelling it to the top of there lungs in the front row at gruene hall. and also why i asked was because if you read some of these reviews one says "fuck cory!" so i was just curious. back to the review part i finally got me a bleu cd and i tell ya one thing... its texas country for sure... not that shit you hear on the radio.
