Dulwich Fox has been around since the early 70's playing great tunes of the era. Throughout the years, members have come and gone, but the mainstay of the band, Jim Nickolyn and his wife, Liz, have been there from the beginning. Dulwich Fox is about bringing together the diverse musical backgrounds of it's members, creating new and exciting music, each contributing to the richness and breadth of the songs. From the heart-touching, melodic ballad of True Love Unspoken, to the driving rhythm of Shady Lady to an instrumental reminiscent of the Spanish Riviera captured in Solo Para Ti, you will be taken into an emotional weave of musical experiences that will leave you thirsting for more.

I came to Wharton this week-end to hang with my sister. We went to the Wharton Fest and saw you guys play. We had guys all over asking us to dance but we couldn't take our eyes off of band. You "Rocked the House"! Your guitar player played with such emotion, I haven't seen anyone like that in quite some time. I used to sing with the Tail Gaiters out of Austin but those guys were so bland, I'd go to sleep on stage. I really enjoyed listening to your originals on your web site. Ya'll need to come to Austin and clean house. The only band I like as much as ya'll is Los Lonely Boys. Keep up the good work. I'll be looking out for you guys.

I'm from Rosenberg, TX and we were just passing through Wharton after coming from Bay City when we heard music. My girl and I and a couple of buddies stopped to check out this band. Man, do this guys rock. We go to Houston all the time, to check out the music scene. These guys would be like a great white shark in the Houston area eating up everyone in sight. This older dude they had for a lead player was the best I've ever seen. Every note he played with such feeling. They played a shuffle that I kept singing all the way home. My girl had to punch me to stop singing that "Little Dog" song. Keep up the good work boys. I'll be checking you out.

Saw you guys at the Freedom Fest in Wharton......you absolutely blew me away. You guys have a guitar player that absolutely grabs your attention. Such feeling I've never seen in another musician anywhere. You guys absolutely "ROCK" the house. Ya'll are the best ! I'll be watching for any advertisement as to where you play next. I listened to some of your music on the web site. It's is astounding. Your originals are the best.

Holy Mole, is all I can say. I used to see you guys at the old Pyramid Club in Wharton. I thought you guys were history until I read you were going to be playing at this festival in Wharton. All I can say is, I've been to see many bands in this area and in Houston. Also, the "so-called" Texas bands that play at the area clubs.....you know what .... you guys can kick the ass out of any of the bands and they wouldn't / couldn't know what hit them. I was absolutely amazed by their lead player (whose starting to bald a little...grin) in how he absolutely poors his heart into every note he hits in his playing. I haven't seen anyone around this part of Texas play like that since Stevie Ray Vaughn. Incredible...that's all I can say. City of Wharton has no idea of how hot these guys are. I'll be keeping an eye out where ever their going to be playing from now on. Keep Cook'n Fox ! ! Good to know your are still happening !

I saw you perform last night at the Freedom Fest in Wharton, TX. I moved down here from Ohio 5 years ago. My connections with music run deep from my father touring the country playing professional bluegrass, my brother playing fiddle since age 3; my husband played in a country rock band for years. He has relatives who have played with Michelle Wright and Trisha Yearwood. You guys rock! Jim is one of the best lead pickers I have heard in a long time. I guarantee you if I were not in a wheelchair, I would have been in the street dancing. Your new song for veterans is awesome. Go for it. I was floored, disappointed and embarrassed by how the people of Wharton, Tx responded. Ya'all definitely deserved a better reception than you received. I wouldn't blame you if you never came back here to perform, but I guarantee if you do, I will be there. I appreciated your talent. Keep up the good work and thank you. Your newest fan.

Just happen to have some time here at my comp at work. Surprised to see you have a web site. I saw you guys this past Saturday at a club in Bay City, TX. I'm finishing a job here at the Nuke plant and all I can say about your band is that you absolutely kick some serious ass. I don't know where you found that dude that plays lead for ya'll but I haven't seen anything like him in a long long time. I travel all over the U. S. and you guys are at the top of my list. Keep up the good work. I like your original stuff. Especially some song yall did about a pretty boy, dude or whatever. Good luck and keep kicking !

Dulwich Fox, all I can say is WOW !! I was there at the rodeo on Feb 28 and man, did you guys whoop ass ! ! You've got to have one of the best guitarists in the state and he plays with such feelings / and aggression. The variety you guys played can't be matched anywhere in Texas. I was really impressed. This lady in the band gave me one of your CD's and that's why I'm writing this review. It's just awesome and you guys ...simply put...are World Class. Keep up the good work. I'm going to try my best to keep up with you guys.

Hey People ! ! I saw this band Dulwich Fox Saturday, Feb. 28, 09 at the Houston Bar-B-Que cook off. Texas, these guys kept gett'n hotter and hotter as the night went on. I'm gonna to tell ya'll one thing, their guitar player can clean house in a heart beat. I play guitar in a band myself. But this guy has so much tone and sustain in his playing, he reminds me of early ZZ Top but on steroids ! When he played, he demanded attention and got it. His band was like a train behind him. AND...there was no stopping that train ! These guys seemed like they were great people too. This is what Texas needs. A band like these bunch of guys.

OMG, this band took my breath away. Talk about absolutely rock'n the house down, these guys don't fool around. Their guitar player just goes to a zone and stays there ! He smokes every Texas artist I've seen ! This was the first but certainly not the last time I'll see these guys. Hey everbody, check these dudes out !

I saw these guys Saturday at the Houston Bar-B-Q cook-off. Talk about gett'n down. These guys have a guitar player that just dazzles everyone. We couldn't take our eyes off of him even when he was just comping along cause you never knew when he was going to explode ! I play in a local country band but I have to say that guitar player took my breath away. The whole band hit like a train. A damn big one too ! I've got to keep up with this bunch of dudes. Keep up the good work..........you guys are absolutely one of the best bands in Texas.........and....I've seen my share.
