The Meyer Anderson Band has been burning up Texas and the Southwestern United States for over fourteen years. Band leaders and lead vocalists Ted Meyer and Craig Anderson share the duties of offering an all out assault on the senses of an unsuspecting listener. Both of these men have powerful, rich voices that range from tender ballads and honky-tonk twang to down right raunchy rock and roll. With a sound and lighting system that would challenge any national touring act, the boys are ready to give all to any size club, bar or outdoor venue. The song selection is as vast and wide as you can possibly imagine. From the earliest twangy Country music to the latest Nashville pop, no one leaves disappointed from a Meyer Anderson show. During intermissions the band provides a high energy D.J. playing all of the popular dance songs of today and yesterday. Currently, the band is working on their first CD of original music with plans to tour Texas in support of the new project. The new album will consist of several new songs by Meyer Anderson, as well as some notable outside writers. For more information and updates, please keep visiting our site. We will be able to keep you up-to-date on our playing schedule and other special events. Help us keep live music going strong in Texas. We hope to see you on the road.

This band is one of the finest that San Antonio has to offer. While Meyer-Anderson is currently considered a "local band," their talent is of nationwide quality. Their music definitely beats some of that "new country" that's played across radio waves. It's a wonder why (or when?) these boyz haven't broken through to the "big time." The new Meyer-Anderson CD "Tex-Tures" has mostly original music with a few good cover tunes like Elvis Costello's "(What's so Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding and John Mellencamp's "Danger List." And all them kept my foot tapping! This CD is an investment for any music aficionado looking for new, authentic, REAL Texas band.
