Miranda Lambert was born and raised in the tiny town of Lindale, Texas; population 3649. At the tender age of five years old she climbed on her fathers lap and started to sing with him. He was shocked, not by the fact that his daughter could sing on key...but that she could harmonize as well. This was the beginning of Miranda Lambert's journey to stardom.  

Miranda Lambert dominated the nominee list for the 2010 CMA's, with nine nominations in seven  categories, setting a new record for female country artists.
