He opened up for Bob Seger here in Houston! Had never heard of him before but I really liked Dragonfly!!!
I saw Shy in Roswell New Mexico last week and so enjoyed his music I bought the CD, which is something I don't normally do when seeing a new artist. I'm not generally a "country" fan but Shy's music has such a quality to bring in other music listeners. Thanks for the great addition to my evening.

I was lucky ass hell pickin this Cd, a fan of red dirt music but living in New Mexico i dont have the luxery of seeing these bands live. I found this cd and gave it a chance; upbeat, red dirt, and original i absolutely love this cd! Give it a try and i bet you tap your foot the whole way through!
And shy need's to come play at the WORMY DOG in OKC . I would love to see him play live !!
shy is a great song writer and a great singer and his sound is a lot like stoney larue and this is good red dirt. more people need to hear his music !!!!
It is not the kickass outlaw music i usually enjoy listening to, but this boy can jam. It is feel good that shows you Texas roots, i bought the most recent albumn and every time i put it on it reminds me of CCR toned down mixed with Buster Jiggs and Brandon Jenkins they are excelent. Last Summer my boyfriend & I saw Shy in Austin on 6th street. He was awesome. Amazing singer and entertainer. God knows he was the only thing worth remembering about that night... lol.
Great music. Too bad we couldn't see more of Shy on Nashville Star. I found this CD on Napster and I can't stop listening to it. I usually don't buy CDs due to being able to download music, but I'll be buying this one. Keep the great, authentic country music coming!
