I really enjoy just sitting back and listening to the words of your songs. I in one way or another seem to relate to the stories in your music love it man keep it up.
listen, if you're wanting the real deal, look him up. I don't unerstand the reference to Momma. But, if you want the real feel of Texas, life, warrants and life, give Michael O'Neal a look. That is, by god, the real deal. He made me cry in a crowd. I love his audience in Fredericksburg. He will change your life. Brian Burns heard me playin his music in Junction. That should tell you how serious I take his music. Listen and you tell me. I just have to say: Listen to what what he has to say.
Tough cat with a huge heart and soul that eminates from a rich, unpolished voice. Three chord, never overdone songs take you to Hell and back, find your heart then break it into. He effortlessly paints a picture of love, family, good times, hard times and the termoil of drugs, and small town values.
A great Texas song writer. You'll be glad to know him.
This is the best artist ive ever heard. Great music, gets to your soul. Im from hull myself.
I saw these guys at the RFT Rowdy Float trip and was blown away! Keep up the great work and hope to see you guys soon in the Beaumont area.
Soulshine is one of my favorite cd's.I have followed Michael since the day he got his first six string. It has been an awesome experience to watch him grow into one of the best,if not THE BEST,songwriters around. These words ring true as you listen to each one of his songs on the album, every word comes straight from his heart and soul. As a fan and a friend if you don't have a copy of Soulshine,GET IT!
Soul Shine is one of those CDs you'll want to listen to over and over again - start to finish. We have been fans of MOB from the start, and he just keeps getting better and better!
The first time I seen Micheal O'neal he played in place of Stoney Larue and I've been hooked ever since. I have both of his cd's and the trouble i have is deciding which to listen to. His live shows are great because he plays to the crowd and not just to the mike. He's greatful of every person that attends his shows and i hope to see a great guy and great musician like him make it in this industry.
