Jarrod Birmingham
Artist Review
Don't Live in Dallas could very well be one of the Great Songs! It says everything those of us who refuse to be identified by those Damn Yankees in Plano and parts north. It reminds me of the story that Amon Carter would bring a sack lunch with him to Dallas if he had to go there so he did not have to eat "their" food.

I went to see Jarrod Birmingham in concert over the weekend. Will not say where but this guy is a total joke. He thinks he is a combination of Dwight Yoakum and Traci Lawrence. His looks suck and so does his music. He needs to find another profession. Also someone needs to take scissors to that hair. Jarrod Birmingham is a total joke to the texas country music lineup.

No Apologies
to txmusicfan, the last reviewer with posted notes about this album. what a fan you are. anyone who knows anything about texas music, knows that david allan coe was born in akron, OH, so actually, he's a born yankee, but maybe converted to a texan. i think this is a great album and "i don't live in dallas" is an AWESOME song, of course i live in ft worth, too. shoot, sell all the dallas yuppies. The Ranch. let's hear a little more of that song on the air.

Hey txmusicfan, David Allan Coe is from Ohio, born and raised. I Don't Live in Dallas is a JOKE. Just like Redneck Mother, Okie From Muskogee, etc. Everyone else gets it, that's why it's on the radio in Dallas/Ft. Worth every day.

I am totally apalled by the comment left from JR. Jarrod Birmingham is one true artist. He puts alot of emotion, honesty and thought into his music. He is compassionate and a wonderful human being. He is a true texas country artist and he will go so very far in the industry. He knows how to get his fans involved with his music and I rate him 10 stars-plus. Keep up the terrific music. Hope to see you again very soon. Cannot wait to hear more songs like Whiskey & Lies and Walk Away. Love ya DMS

I was fortunate enough to go to one of Jarrod's concerts and throughly enjoyed it. I love the way he writes. One of my favorites is Walk Away. Good job.

We just saw Jarrod again last night. He is truly Texas, in song and in heart. He has not forgotten how to dream, and he reminded me how important it is to keep dreaming. I wish him the best this life has to offer. He is the type of talent we need more of. You go, boy! Wanda

As a small venue promoter, I have had the pleasure of traveling across Texas and observeing many Texas artist like Jack Ingram, Jon Wolfe, Tommy Alverson, Pete Benz, Deryl Dodd, Jamie Richards and Jarrod Birmingham. Jarrod is a true down to earth Texas hearted singer. He doesn't mind talking with his fans after his performance and he certainly doesn't want anyone to walk away without a hand shake or autograph because of lack of money. I have seen him give away a t shirt a cd, sign a dollar bill or even ladies t shirt strap. Jarrod truly is deserving of the title of Texas Artist. I am proud to know him and think that he is my friend.
