With whiskey edged vocals backed by powerfuly raw guitar, HogLeggEllis comes on strong with Homegrown. The songs are about as down to earth as red Texas clay. I can't keep it out of my cd player, and I don't want to try.
This is a great CD featuring some great Texas rock music. HLE has proven that a studio album does not detract one bit from the raw energy and soulful delivery of a live show fans have come to expect from Rushin and the boys. It is 100% Hog Legg Ellis and well worth the buy.

Hog Legg Ellis's debut CD "Home Grown" is an amazing piece of work! It is a must have for any Texas Music collection. I just love these guys. I have played this CD non-stop since I recieved it. The lead singer/songwriter, Rushin Steele, has a fantastic voice and is an amazing songwriter. The band totally rocks also! Hog Legg Ellis has their own unique sound and style. This CD has 12 great tracks that will leave you begging for more. Rushin wrote 11 of the tracks on this CD and co-wrote one with his lead guitarist Samuel Colunga.
