I actually tried to like the album because I liked ignition so much, ignition was country, follow is a pop album, I never thought he would go this direction, don't waste your money

....i for one am very very impressed with Johnny Cooper's new cd 'Follow'....the songs are straight from the heart and soul of one of the finest musicians on the face of this earth....the arrangments are absolutly AWESOME and were pretty much put together by Johnny and to me that is amazing in itself....some amateur local writer wrote a review of 'Follow' and did not do him justice at all but hey he's an amateur so whatever....do yourself a favor and listen to one of the most refreshing albums to come along in a very long time....music evolves and some say he's drifted from 'red dirt' well someone define 'red dirt' for me and i'll show you a 'red dirt musician' that has created his own genre including 'red dirt'....his name is Johnny Cooper and he is 'red dirt' and whatever else he decides to be....judge for yourself ~ don't take the word of someone who has an ax to grind just because Johnny's music doesn't fit his ears....ronsout....

Well the old band taught him the ways, but all good things come to an end and new beginnings start. It's not a slam on the original band, it's a new chapter in Cooper's life. This new CD rocks of not trying to be anything but, COOPER himself, and if you judge a 20-year old for following their dreams, well, should we all give up then? Naysayers just pump up the volume! Get this cd, because over 5,000 people already have!
