SCREAM and REBOUND will live in eternity...songs that speak to the soul...Someone sign this talent, I need more songs of riding fences, lonely women and bad booze...Brandon captures the essence of Texas in an infinte number of ways...I think I am going to start writing songs...where is my guitar...keep it up Brandon Johnson, music needs more of this...check out SCREAM the album, you will be pleased...he's even better LIVE

Songs like "Scream", and "Rebound", are the types of tunes that make people famous. Well-done Brandon, I have enjoyed the album and am eager to her your next piece of work. Good luck, kid!

Not bad... but belongs in alt-rock or nashville rock country...most of the songs have something to do with a broken heart or experiences similar...I hear the Jack Ingram influence, but it lacks experience... I felt the songs were cloudy and raspy, with an electrical kick from somewhere in the back of the room... I fear this young man has veered too far from the texas country road and its hard to classify the work the artist did, therefore, making it difficult to listen to over and over again...great potential for songwriting, pop in an old Pat Green CD or a Chris Knight track and then let the writing begin... Not going to give up on Mr. Johnson yet...

Brandon's debut: Scream is a must have for any music lover. He is an amazing songwriter and an even better human being. It's refeshing to meet a new singer/songwriter who has a firm head on his shoulders and who is as down to earth as they come, unlike some of these other "Texas Artists", but that is neither here nor there. Make sure to buy 2 copies of Scream, because you will tempted to pass the first one on to a peer music lover. Enjoy.
