I'm not a big country fan at all, but I saw Mark and his band play Tavern in the Gruene and they flat out rock. I never buy indie music because it usually sucks. But after seeing this guy live I had to buy this one. All I can say is the Overdrive CD ROCKS! Well worth the money!

Mark Monaco is not only super sexy but his writing is strong and music rocks! Everyone needs to take notice!

I just discovered The Mark Monaco Band. I had heard the name a bunch but never caught up with them until some friends dragged me out St. Patty's Day to Fat Moe's in Waxahachie. All I can say is THESE GUYS ROCK! I was exhausted (and hung over) the whole next day after seeing them. If you haven't caught their show yet, brotha you're missing the boat. Check 'em out. I caught Mark's show down in Robstown opening for Jack Ingram. Mark and his band were the opening act and they blew Jack Ingram out of the water. I bought both CDs and they are well worth the money. Awesome live show and he sounds as good if not better than the record. A definite MUST SEE! See you guys at the Surf Club 5/13. I know yall will rock!

I saw Mark perform at Sea World San Antonio on Oct 30, 2005. Absolutely fantastic! Great guitar player and singer. Great entertainer. Good Luck mark.

Where has this guy been? A friend of mine told me to give Mark's CD a listen. I figured it would be another gravel-voiced clone spitting out stories of beer-drinkin' and guitar-pickin'. But I found Mark Monaco's music to be far differnt. Very thought-provoking. Great lyrics and music. I really loved the opening track Bottle Rocket. Anyway, I really think Mark and his band are awesome and I'd recommend them to anyone who likes good rockin' Texas country music. I can't wait to see Mark and his band live!
