What a breath of fresh air! As a new comer to Trish Murphy, all I can say is where have I been? When it comes to Texas music, I've found a new favorite. Soulful on Love Never Dies to fun foot-tapping on Trouble With Trouble. I love this album.

Girls Get in Free is pure greatness. Enternal Dream takes you to another place. Trish says she was inspired by Lucinda Williams but, the lyrics are all Trish. Crying as Fast as You Can and All I Want remind me why I am a fan of this talented songwriter. You can related to your own life, the lyrics and tone of the song draw you in. Oh, and Bob Schneider on Cowboy Man is wonderful.

Nice c.d...but her range of voice has little variety. She tries to sound like Sheryl Crow, and she keeps releasing the SAME songs. Can you not find any new inspiration.

Trish is the real deal; her live shows alternate between rock (when she has a band) and folk (when she performs solo). Her three albums are excellent- pithy songwriting and solid musical performances abound. And, as my daddy would put it, she's oh-so-easy on the eyes. If she'd just lose that damn Yorkie of hers on stage....
