Great record, great storyteller, great performer. Go see him if you get a chance.

"Texas Calling Me Home" is damn good record. "Company Man" & the Title track stick out to me. Sure would like to see him somewhere live!!

Man, what a sound! He can write em, and he can sing em! This guy is emerging on the Texas scene just at the right time. He is a "must see" if you get a chance.

Any fan of good old Texas Country music will enjoy this record.There are plenty of good stories, check it out.

A must for those who appreciate great music with feeling. Steve displays the raw talent that few singers today are able to capture. The CD is done in a "Texas Way". By that I mean you can actually feel the songs. Would liken to Pat Green, Robet Earl Keen, Jerry Jeff Walker. Good job, good CD.

Steve has a talent for seeing what everyone else just takes for granted. He focuses in on the thoughts we all have and expresses them in words which end up in song. Great words and good times Loved the album
