Best songwriter in Texas Music. He just needs to tour more often.

Wide Afternoon
Great stuff. Mix a little Dylan, a little Willie, some Jim Croce and a whole lot of both originality and traditional country and you've got Max Stalling. I have listened to this album repeatedly and every song stills sounds fresh. I am ordering "Comfort in the Curves" today.

I am a native Texan and there are alot of very talented Texas based artists but I think we have hit upon a real gem with Max Stalling. With this guys talent for song writing and his pure, incredible, multi-ranged vocals, he is going to make it really big, really quick. Probably the best music I have heard in a long time!!!!!

Wide Afternoon
2 words....... Lyrical genius. I didn't know if the second CD could be as good as the first but Max did it again. Personally owning an extensive Texas Country CD collection, Max Stalling is at the very top.

Max's voice is as relaxing and true to Texas as it comes. This talented artist is among the top song writers of down to earth country music. We are proud to have him representing Texas and our music. Thanks for the inspiration.

Max Stalling brings to light a further understanding to the meaning of Texas music. Both Max's albums, Wide Afternoon and Comfort in the Curves deserve a 5 star ratig. Being a genuine lover of Texas music I feel Max's music has much to offer in way of portraying the ordinary person that may have been forgotten, and a defined way of life. With songs ranging from family and friends, to traveling lite, to an unfound love Max's song writing ability speaks to the soul that is trying its best to beat the conformity of the everyday hustle and bustle. With his blend of upbeat tunes there is a song waiting to help set the mood. On a final note this truthful and heartfelt music is a reminder that all people experience life in one form or another, but remember it is different for each one of us.

There aren't enough stars available for this guy. An incredible songwriter who will pull you in and won't let you go till the CD is over. Can't wait to see him in a few weeks.
